About Me

The Journey Behind the Experience

I started my career with a strong foundation in performance marketing, analytics and customer acquisition, learning early on how data and creativity can work together to drive measurable growth.

My journey began independently as a Digital Marketing Consultant and continued on the agency side at GroupM/WPP and Digital Exchange, where working across multiple brands, industries and accounts shaped the way I approach marketing today.

In 2019, I moved to the brand side with Monster Notebook. What started with performance marketing gradually expanded into SEO, e-commerce, marketplaces, customer experience, pricing, analytics and commercial growth — shifting my perspective from optimizing individual channels to understanding how the entire digital business works together.

Over time, my focus became increasingly international. After years of contributing to the company's European growth from Istanbul, I moved to Berlin and took direct responsibility for the German operation, helping build and scale the business across Shopify, Amazon, MediaMarkt, Otto, Kaufland and eBay.

Today, I bring together experience from agency, brand, e-commerce and international market development — with one consistent focus throughout: turning digital opportunities into measurable business growth.

Experience

Over a Decade of Digital & E-Commerce Growth

Monster / Tulpar

2019–2026

I joined Monster in 2019 with a strong background in performance marketing, but over the next seven years my role evolved far beyond media and campaign management.

What started with performance marketing gradually expanded into SEO, e-commerce, customer experience, marketplaces, pricing, analytics and commercial growth. I moved from optimizing individual channels to understanding and managing how the entire digital business works together.

During this journey, I managed annual marketing investments of around $2M and contributed to approximately $54M in annual revenue, while helping digital channels become a major part of the company's commercial growth.

My focus also increasingly moved beyond Türkiye. For approximately the last six years, I worked on the company's European growth, with Germany becoming a key focus. This eventually took me from supporting the market remotely from Istanbul to moving to Berlin and taking direct responsibility for the German operation.

In Germany, I helped build and scale the company's digital commerce ecosystem across Shopify DTC, Amazon, MediaMarkt, Otto, Kaufland and eBay, combining marketplace operations, digital marketing, pricing, logistics and commercial decision-making.

Along the way, this work was also recognized by the industry through multiple awards and recognitions, including Brandverse & Deloitte Awards, Corporate Blog Award and YouTube Ads Leaderboard, turning measurable business results into award-winning digital work.

Before Monster — The Agency Years

Before moving to the brand side, I built my digital marketing foundation in the agency world, including Digital Exchange and GroupM / WPP.

Working with multiple brands and accounts simultaneously gave me experience across different industries, audiences and business objectives, with a strong focus on digital and performance marketing, media strategy, campaign optimization and account management.

That agency background still shapes how I work today: understand the business first, translate its objectives into measurable actions, test continuously and let data guide the next decision.

What I Did — and What It Delivered

Challenge, strategy and measurable results: how I approach digital growth.

Brandverse & Deloitte Award

“Should I Buy a Monster Notebook?”

“Let's Assume You Didn't Ask That”

  1. 01

    Challenge

Potential customers were already asking Google a very direct question: “Monster Notebook alınır mı?” — “Should I buy a Monster Notebook?” Rather than treating this query as a reputation problem, I saw it as an opportunity to engage customers at one of the most important moments in their purchase journey.

  2. 02

    Insight

The search itself revealed something valuable: people were interested in the brand, but they were looking for reassurance before making a purchase decision. Instead of creating another conventional advertising message, the idea was to answer that hesitation directly.

  3. 03

    Idea

We turned the question into the creative concept itself: “Bunu Sormadınız Diye Düşünelim” — “Let's Assume You Didn't Ask That.” The playful response caught attention while allowing us to explain why customers should choose Monster.

  4. 04

    Execution

Users searching for the brand were directed to a dedicated landing page presenting five key reasons to choose Monster Notebook. What started as a search-driven idea was then extended into social media, creating additional organic conversation around the campaign.

  5. 05

    Impact

A simple search behaviour became a campaign that connected search intent, creativity, performance marketing and customer experience — turning a moment of hesitation into an opportunity to communicate the brand's value proposition.

SEO, AI & The Future of Commerce

From Search Intent to AI-Powered Growth

SEO was never just about ranking higher on Google. At its core, it has always been about understanding what people are looking for, what they need, and what content or experience can best answer that intent. Years of working with SEO taught me how to connect search intent, content, data and customer behaviour to create sustainable growth.

AI is the natural evolution of that approach. While SEO helps us understand the shared intent of thousands of users, AI allows us to go further — understanding individual behaviour, interests and purchase intent to deliver more relevant content, products and communication through personalization and marketing automation.

AI is also beginning to reshape how people discover, compare and ultimately choose what to buy. As this behaviour evolves, I believe commercial strategies will increasingly need to adapt — from how brands forecast demand and allocate marketing investment to how they personalize customer journeys and convert intent into sales.

Looking ahead, Search, AI, Personalization and Commerce will increasingly converge. Brands will need to go beyond optimizing for search algorithms and start building their growth strategies around how both people and AI discover, evaluate and choose products. For me, the principle remains the same: understand intent, use data intelligently, and turn both into personalized and measurable growth.
